Independence Water and Sanitation District

At a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Independence Water & Sanitation District held on November 20, 2025, a resolution was adopted to increase the rates for both residential potable and non-potable water usage by five percent, in order to keep revenues on pace with the inflationary costs associated with operating and maintaining the community’s water systems.  The increased rates will be implemented on January 1, 2026.  The District’s fees were last raised in 2024.
