Board Meetings

The Independence Water & Sanitation District is governed by a five-member Board of Directors in whom rests the authority to manage, control, and supervise all of the business affairs of the Districts. The Districts’ Board of Directors hold Special Business Meetings as needed.

                          NOTICE AS TO PROPOSED ADDITIONAL AMENDMENT OF 2024 BUDGETS

INDEPENDENCE METROPOLITAN DISTRICT NOS. 2, 3, and THE INDEPENDENCE WATER & SANITATION DISTRICT
ELBERT COUNTY, COLORADO

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, pursuant to Sections 29-1-108 and 109, C.R.S., that the necessity has arisen for the additional amendments of the 2024 budgets of the Independence Metropolitan District Nos. 2, 3, and the Independence Water & Sanitation District (the “Districts”). Copies of the 2024 additional amended budgets are on file in the office of the Districts’ Accountant, Special District Solutions, Inc. 2370 Antelope Ridge Trail, Parker, CO 80138, where same are available for public inspection. Such additional amended 2024 budgets will be considered at a special joint meeting to be held on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. via ZOOM at https://us06web.zoom.us/j/5988306396?omn=88248319980 Meeting ID: 598 830 6396, or via telephone at 720-707-2699 then dial 598 830 6396#. Any interested elector within the Districts may, at any time prior to the final adoption of the additional amended 2024 budgets, inspect the additional amended 2024 budgets and file or register any objections thereto.

Notice of meetings are posted on this website at least 24-hours prior to each meeting.

If the District is unable to post the Notice of Meeting on the District Website at least 24 hours prior to each meeting due to exigent or emergency circumstances, the Notice of Meeting shall be posted within the boundaries of the District at least 24 hours prior to each meeting, pursuant to Section 24‑6‑402(2)(c)(I) and (III), C.R.S., at the following Designated Public Place:
